Get ready for the gardening season and get some inspiration at the Garden and lifestyle 2025 trade fair in Ķīpsala
On 10-11 May, Ķīpsala International Centre will host the international gardening trade fair Garden and lifestyle 2025, presenting the newest gardening products and current landscape design trends, with a chance to buy plants, seeds and various tools and products for working in or enjoying the garden. Trade fair is a convenient way to get advice from top experts and find inspiration.
For better harvest and look
More than 30 different species and varieties of rhododendron suitable for Latvia’s climate from Babīte rhododendron breeding and testing farm. Ķīpsala Expo Centre will have perennial flowers and shrubs for all types of gardens from Hedera Garden Centre and Eva Meržejevska nurseries, locally-grown roses of various kinds from “Ilzes rozes” and “Dailas rozes”. “Līga” orchards will bring wide variety of annual and perennial plants and flowers. Exhibition space will be covered lawns and carpets made of wild flowers, and even walnut tree seedlings nurtured in Latvia.
“Jaunās Čūreikas” farm will amaze with various aromatic spices – from staples like basil to olive herb. There will also be all past years’ favourites like balcony tomatoes and chilli peppers, fragrant herb and spice boxes. Members of the Artūrs Silde Horticultural Enthusiasts’ Club TOMATO will present tomato plants, and gladly offer their advice. So, don’t be shy to get extra experience.
If you are looking for fruit trees or berry plants, you should visit the stand of ‘Liepas’ nursery, which grows wide variety of apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees, peach trees, apricot trees, black currants, gooseberry and red currants. But, if your wish is to make your garden a special place, Bonsai from Japanese maple or bigger tree species from “Dārzs zem saules/Garden under the sun” exclusive line of tree plants will definitely spark your interest.
Professionals like garden centre representatives, architects, developers and avid gardeners will find worthwhile visiting Polish Nurserymen Association stand, which will provide information about 130 leading Polish tree nurseries/farms, range of plants they grow and how to get in contact.
Living garden – creative outdoor space
Just like an oasis, in the centre of the Ķīpsala Expo Centre’s pavilion, surrounded by exhibitors, Living garden 1 000sqm exposition will be a site to behold. It is an area showcasing the latest garden and landscape design trends, inspiring to make your garden prettier and offering expert advice from experienced professionals like interior and environment designer Kristiana Kazarjana from K&K Concept, landscape architect and natural stone expert consultant from Evergreen Loreta Erele, interior and environment designer Kristiana Kazarjana and plant experts from Garden under the sun. Visitors will be able to either have conversations with experts or simply enjoy the visual and creative qualities of outdoor environment recreated in Ķīpsala.
Work efficiency is essential
Exhibitors taking part in the Garden and lifestyle 2025 will offer diverse range of garden tools, instruments, equipment and machines. For example, Werkado from Estonia will introduce top-quality gardening tools from Bahco, Truper and (F)inland, whereas DigiMart.lv will showcase tillers, firewood splitters, woodchippers and other equipment.

Lithuanian VIP Zone will display garden furniture, SPA massage baths and gazebos. Dzintars Workshop will exhibit fireplaces, grills and heaters for sauna. Qeen Tub will offer different types of SPA baths. Arda Home, a small family company that produces modern terrace furniture, will also demonstrate its creations.
