Elegant cats and dogs of the Latvian Winner 2024 at the Ķīpsala Expo Centre
The international dog and cat show, Latvian Winner 2024, will take place at the Ķīpsala International Expo Centre on 8-9 June 2024. This extensive show will bring visitors exciting events, different breeds of pets and a chance to buy special treats for their four-legged friend.
Latvian Winner 2024 will showcase the total of around 3,000 dogs and 300 cats from 14 countries. Finland will be the most represented country with more than 1,000 participants, whereas Spain will be the farthest country from which participants will travel to Latvian Winner 2024.
Exclusive dog species
Dog lovers will definitely appreciate the 244 dog species – both popular and rare – on display during the Latvian Winner 2024. It is expected that competition will be especially fierce among such breeds as Shetland Sheep dogs, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Labradors and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Among rare species, there will be breeds like Tornjak, Continental Bulldog, American Foxhound, Polish Greyhound, Hungarian Greyhound and Tenterfield Terrier.
Pure-bread cats
This year’s Latvian Winner will showcase 17 cat breeds. Cats will compete in different routines. There will be exciting shows for everyone. For the first time ever, visitors will be able to appreciate performances by Maine Coons and forest cats. One of the competitions will be between black and silver cats. The winning dogs and cats will be crowned at the end of each of the show’s two days.
Rich programme of events
There will also be plenty of exciting demonstrations on 8-9 June. Agility, obedience and show routines, canine therapy for children, presentations of Bavarian Mountain Scent Hound Dog and Retrievers that will draw large crowds of big and small.
