At a time when digital skills have become particularly important in everyday life, work and education, Ventspils Digital Centre has made sure that everyone has the opportunity to improve their digital skills in a convenient way by offering a wide training programme where everyone can find the best fit for their interests! Teachers have been especially thought of, as they have the opportunity to learn various online tools and applications that will help them both in developing teaching materials and in organising the learning process. The Digital Centre offers a wide range of online courses via Moodle and Zoom platforms, so not only people from Ventspils, but also people from other cities in Latvia can apply for courses.
With the start of a new school year, the Digital Transformation Centre was opened in Ventspils, which will expand the Ventspils Digital Centre’s existing offer, giving everyone the opportunity to acquire professional knowledge and skills to better compete in the labour market, as well as to use digital technologies for self-learning purposes.

Ventspils Digital Center offers to learn all kinds of digital skills, such as
• creating learning materials and resources for working with an interactive whiteboard;
• creating visuals with Canva;
• free tools for creating digital content;
• basics of building a website for Grade 7 for the SKOLA2030 programme in computing,
• basics of photography;
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, etc;
• aSc Timetables - creation of lesson lists;
• architectural modelling with SketchUp;
• home computer administration, etc.

Ventspils Digital Centre also provides free access to the Internet and computers for residents and visitors, as well as office services - printing, scanning, laminating, typing, using various computer software, etc. The Digital Centre also offers room rental for seminars and trainings.
