Have a unique experience at the LBTU stand at the "Skola 2025” exhibition!

By attending the "Skola 2025" exhibition, visitors to the LBTU stand will be able to find all the necessary information about the university’s study programs, meet current students, and learn about the admission process.

The Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technology offers a diverse range of study programs, including 24 bachelor’s, 16 master’s, and 11 doctoral programs. The university uniquely combines three crucial areas: humans, nature, and technology. Notably, several unique programs are exclusively available in Jelgava, such as veterinary medicine, forestry, food technology, wood processing, food quality and innovation, agriculture, landscape architecture, and planning. These fields define LBTU’s distinctive identity and provide students with in-demand knowledge both domestically and internationally.

In response to the evolving modern labor market, LBTU has expanded its program offerings to include the academic bachelor’s program "Biosystems Machinery and Technologies." By integrating information technology and mechanical engineering coursework, students can become highly sought-after engineers within three years.

The bachelor’s and academic master’s programs in "Sociology of Organizations and Public Administration" are also gaining significant interest from new students, and these programs are offered in a distance learning format. Admission to advanced studies will be available in the master’s program "Human Resources Management," which has been developed from the previous "Career Consultant" program. This new program will enable students to earn a professional master’s degree in human resources management and acquire career consultant qualifications.

For those uncertain about their future career paths, a special interest test is available to help identify the most suitable study program based on individual goals. Completing the test also provides an opportunity to participate in the Wheel of Fortune spin and win exciting prizes from LBTU.

LBTU aims to provide a unique experience for "Skola 2025" visitors. The LBTU stand itself will serve as an environmental exhibit, constructed from sustainable natural resources and designed to evolve throughout the exhibition. This living exhibit will symbolize not only the university’s connection to nature but also its continuous development as a multidisciplinary institution. A special highlight will be the growth of wheat on a vertical, four-meter-high wall, showcasing the dynamic interplay between nature, science, and the university’s ongoing progress.

Join LBTU to become part of an exciting adventure.

LBTU is a science university in Jelgava, offering higher education in more than 50 study programs and developing the knowledge necessary for sustainable environmental and social development. By bringing together the contributions of biosciences, engineering, and social sciences, the university’s graduates and scientists ensure that people live better, healthier, and longer lives.
