Leading medical trade fair in the Baltics, Medbaltica 2024, will take place in September

International Expo Centre Ķīpsala will host the biggest medical trade fair in the Baltics, Medbaltica 2024, on 19-20 September. The 17th international medical trade fair Medbaltica 2024 will also include 17 conferences organised in cooperation with professional associations.


Medbaltica trade fair is a milestone event for the medical industry, bringing together more than 10 000 professionals from various healthcare sectors, manufacturers and traders of medical products from Latvia and abroad. Medbaltica is the place where you will find all necessary information about current medical technologies, meet industry representatives, network with other professionals and buy medical products.

Extensive conference programme
In addition to expo, two-day trade fair at the Ķīpsala Expo Centre will also offer the most extensive conference programme ever. For the first time in Medbaltica history conferences will be organised by Latvian Ophthalmological Association (20 September), Latvian Ergotherapeutic Association, Latvian Outpatient Assistant Physicians’ Professional Society and Latvian Podology Society (19 September). Professional events will bring together various healthcare professionals, professional associations and managers of healthcare providers from all over Latvia for discussions and inspiring presentations of current trends in the sector.

Latvian Medical Association and Latvian Dental Association will organise their conferences on 19th and 20th of September. Healthcare Employers Association, Latvian Dental Hygiene Association, Latvian Medical Nurses’ Association and Latvian Rehabilitology Association will host their conference on 19 September. Moreover, on 22 September Latvian Pharmacists Society, Latvian Junior Doctors Association, Latvian Dietology and Nutrition Association, Latvian Dental Assistants’ Association and Latvian Physiotherapy Association will host their conferences.

Medical technologies, products and services
80 companies from seven countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Romania and Switzerland) have already confirmed their participation at Medbaltica 2024. BT 1 is also supporting the participation of Ukrainian companies at Medbaltica for the third year running with Ukraine’s national stand. Exhibiting companies will bring their newest dental, surgical, orthopaedic, rehabilitation, pharmaceutical and other medical technologies, devices, materials and services for conference participants and visitors to appreciate.

Open stage
Open stage is the novelty of this year’s Medbaltica. Exhibiting companies will take the Open stage to showcase their industry novelties and other current trends. There will be plenty of exciting workshops and presentations!
