CoB, Latvian Technological Centre (LTC)
“We are the veterans of the Riga Food trade show. BT 1 has yet again done a great job and created an event where you can expect to find all market-oriented food companies that want to ensure their business in Latvia and beyond continues to grow successfully. Even those companies that do not have the resources or time to participate as exhibitors have access to business matchmaking events for several years now. This is a perfect solution for busy companies – you can benefit from event’s hybrid format and choose to either meet in person or schedule remote meetings. Innovation Stand of LTC is where you will always find industry leaders who are keen to showcase their newest products and help you resolve various challenging issues. We are always open and ready to support up and coming entrepreneurs with everything we can offer. See you at Riga Food 2024!”

“Riga Food 2023 trade fair is an unforgettable event. I was pleasantly surprised about how well it was run, and also the very broad representation of various sectors and experts. I would like to specifically note the national stand of Latvia, which presented an impressive number of Latvian food industry companies. Participants did their best to give visitors incomparable dining experiences. The enormous popularity among participants and growing interest of international visitors makes Riga Food an important platform for promotion of export, highlighting Latvia and its food industry on the global market”
President, Latvian Chefs’ Club
“I am really proud to be a part of Riga Food 2023. It was like before Covid-19. It was actually even better – more people, more caterers, best organisation ever.
This year we proudly brought several competitions to Riga Food. Zero Waste Challenge – a competition for Baltic college teams. Best Latvian Chef 2023 and Best Latvian Apprentice Chef 2023. We also selected Latvian representative for the world-famous chefs’ competition Bocuse d’Or. I am also happy that food competition Baltic Taste Award, organised in collaboration with BT 1 International Expo Company, attracted so much interest in its first year”
Owner & CEO, Gemoss
“Riga Food is an important platform for maintaining client relations and reaching out to new partners. This is the only event where you can find so many food industry companies in one place. To please the trade fair visitors, exhibiting companies treat their stand design and range of new products very seriously. Riga Food has always been in our calendar. For Gemoss it is one of the highlights of the year.

If you are selling or producing frozen foods, canned foods, organic food, healthy food, gluten-free or vegan food, Riga Food is the right platform for self-promotion, finding new business partners and deepening existing ties.
Covid-19 required extensive restrictions. We lost several years of progress in many areas. Like elsewhere in the world, Riga Food was also forced to scale down its operation. However, after a rather difficult period, the largest food industry trade fair in the Baltics returned as strong as ever. That lead to a major leap in 2023 when Riga Food became better in terms of what it offers, and the overall size. Number of participants was bigger and there were more innovations. For example, Cider Festival presented 12 Latvian and 18 foreign cider makers. There was cider competition and tasting. The first ever Baltic Taste Award, various cooking and cocktail competitions. Professional events, cutting-edge innovations and demonstrations of improved products. For three days Ķīpsala becomes the place where food industry professionals and foodies gather for the most prominent industry event in the Baltics. An event appreciated even by the president of Latvia who has also visited the trade show.
