In order to emphasize eggs as a diverse and healthy food product, Balticovo, one of the leading producers of eggs and egg products in Northern Europe and the Baltics, will start offering egg pasta to its customers in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania from June 2024. It is new in the Balticovo egg product range and is already available on store shelves. Egg pasta will also be presented at the exhibition Riga Food 2024. Egg pasta tastings every day at the exhibition (time to be specified).
Balticovo egg pasta is made from hen eggs laid in a barn (outside of cages). "Durum" flour is used in the egg pasta dough. They are especially suitable for making pasta, which gives the dough strength and elasticity.
