Next year Ķīpsala will host the biggest medicine event in four years
On 21-23 September 2017, the International Exhibition Centre in Ķīpsala will host the 10th international medicine exhibition Medbaltica 2017 – the biggest exhibition in the field of medicine in the Baltics. Simultaneously with the exhibition the biggest medicine forum in Latvia – the 8th Latvian Physicians’ Congress – will take place.
The annual Medbaltica exhibition represents the development of medicine in general, highlights new achievements and provides an opportunity to meet serious and trustworthy medicine companies. Companies from Latvia and abroad participate in the exhibition and demonstrate the most advanced dentistry, surgery, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, pharmacy and other medical technologies, equipment, materials and services. Latvian Physicians’ Congress
The 8th Latvian Physicians’ Congress will be the meeting place of the community of Latvian doctors as well as many doctors from around the world who maintain ties with Latvia.
The main idea behind the format and contents of the congress is the concept of a clinical case well known to every doctor. From this perspective many important topics will be discussed such as the health of mother and child, palliative care issues, financing of healthcare, legal regulation of medical practitioners, quo vadis, pharmacy, development of primary healthcare in Latvia, the stopping of development of the emergency medical service, issues related to cooperation between doctors and veterinarians etc. There will also be discussions on topical issues in healthcare organisation, practice, education and science.
The 8th Latvian Physicians’ Congress will be organised by the Latvian Medical Association and Dental Association. Preparations for the exhibition are in full swing!
Organisers of Medbaltica are actively preparing for the exhibition, with many display areas already booked. More than 60 companies from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belgium and Singapore have already chosen Medbaltica 2017 for promoting their business activities. These include well-known companies with a long participation history that have booked even larger stands for Medbaltica 2017, as well as newcomers.
Mārtiņš Druvkalns, manager of the exhibition project, says that “next year’s exhibition promises to surprise not only with its scale but also with the number of professionals taking part and the extensive event programme of the Latvian Physicians’ Congress that will take place in more than eight conference rooms”.
If your company also wishes to participate in one of the most important medicine events in the Baltic region – the international medicine exhibition Medbaltica 2017 – you are welcome to contact the project manager Mārtiņš Druvkalns.
