Machine learning solutions developed in Latvia at “RIGA COMM 2021”!

There is belief that in business processes you should automate everything that can be automated! More and more artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions are emerging in different industries, which, along with robotic process automation tools, promote hyperautomation. However, to gain success, you cannot rely on constant software - business processes must adapt to changing circumstances and respond to unexpected situations. Moreover, machine-learning technology helps to introduce flexibility in automated processes!

We invite you to attend the Machine Learning Conference at “RIGA COMM 2021” on October 14 to learn more about two machine-learning solutions developed in Latvia.

Artificial intelligence platform for innovation in 3D
The development and optimisation of materials, their chemical composition, processes and machine parameters, as well as the reduction of production anomalies, are a complex and resource-intensive task. Many of the existing solutions are complex and the user needs statistical, data science and programming expertise. In order to improve these processes, the Latvian start-up “Exponential Technologies” has developed an industrial artificial intelligence platform “xT SAAM” that helps researchers and engineers optimize different parameters. Its tailored low data and active learning algorithms are very versatile and flexible, so they can be used without reprogramming.

The artificial intelligence platform makes it possible to innovate more quickly by reducing the number of experiments needed to achieve more optimal results. The platform is like a navigation system in which the researcher enters the destination, but the platform helps to find the shortest route. By using this solution, companies can save money and resources, digitize the unique knowledge of engineers and researchers, and organize data management.

One of the most important applications of this platform is in 3D printing or additive production. Although 3D printers can print very complex details, they often have to optimize and adjust printing processes. In addition, in additive production, the end properties of the material can be significantly changed by the printer parameters. On the one hand, this is an advantage of additive production, as the properties of the material can be adapted during production, but on the other hand, it makes the development of new materials and printer parameters extremely time-consuming and expensive.

Content aggregation for finance, education, healthcare, marketing, legal, IT, education and other businesses
In a world of information and data transfer, there is a need for a tool that can gather key information quickly and efficiently. SummarizeBot is an artificial intelligence-based technology capable of processing large amounts of data in more than 100 languages, including Latvian. The solution developed in Latvia helps you quickly and easily obtain the most important information from any Internet text, news, scientific articles, books, e-mails, lectures, patents, legal documents, calls, audio and video recordings.

SummarizeBot is an artificial intelligence and natural language processing company that simplifies complex processes and automates what previously required human intelligence. The new company is a world leader in the field of data collection, and its products displayed in Latvia are used daily by such world-leading companies as Bloomberg, Sony and Unilever.

Business technology exhibition and conferences
Learn about the latest technology, tools and techniques at the annual business and IT industry event “RIGA COMM”, October 14–15, where developers and suppliers of enterprise resource management, document management, HRM and security systems, suppliers of cloud services, internet and digital marketing services, web solutions and mobile application developers, and ICT product manufacturers offer ready-to-use and tailored solutions for companies in different industries and of different sizes, municipal authorities and organisations to facilitate efficient operation. An extensive conference programme will complement the technology exhibition.

“RIGA COMM” is held by the International Exhibition Company BT 1 in cooperation with Wallester, Cognizant, Intelligent Machines Riga, Riga TechGirls, SmartHR Latvija, Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mailigen by Pipedrive, Promoty, Finance Latvia Association, A.W.Olsen & Partners and other partners.
