Capital Clinic Riga physiotherapist Karlīna Kaire from will offer child development consultations

Free consultations to young parents from Capital Clinic Riga certified physiotherapist Karlīna Kaire will be available in scope of Kids Expo Riga 2025 on 8 March. Practitioner will offer parents group sessions that will focus on child developed through various periods until the age of 18 months. She will explain what the most important factors for healthy development of a child throughout various periods are.

Maximum capacity: 10 participants.
14:00–14:30 Guide to development of 0–3 month old babies
Lecture will focus on child development from month 0 to month 3, with special attention to factors that parents be aware of when making sure their baby’s development is healthy for the age.

15:00–15:30 Guide to development of 3–9 month old babies

Lecture will focus on child development from month 3 to month 9, with special attention to factors that parents be aware of when making sure their baby’s development is healthy for the age.

16:00–16:30 Guide to development of 10–18 month old babies

Lecture will focus on child development from month 10 to month 18, with special attention to factors that parents be aware of when making sure their baby’s development is healthy for the age.

Karlīna Kaire, physiotherapist
Katrīna Kaire specialises in motor skills assessment and facilitation in new-borns and infants based on Bobata therapy.

Specialist care for the following groups of patients:

• prematurely born babies, babies/infants with muscle tone imbalances, children with delayed motor development, birth trauma, infants/babies with genetic pathologies (Autistic spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, Spina Bifida)
• expecting and new mothers requiring postural assessment and individualised exercise programmes
• teens with posture/gait problems (analysis of posture/gait)
• post stroke/infarction rehabilitation, treatment of other neurological conditions/issues

Patient services:

• newborn handling/basic care ergonomics
• motor skill assessment and customised environment/exercise plans
• exercise for children/adolescents for better posture, gait analysis and exercise plans (ergonomic work/learning space tips)
