Therapeutic qualities of nutrition: consult with nutritionist, certified GAPS practitioner Silvija Ābele, PhD

Silvija Ābele
works with families raising children with special needs and also other families that are looking for answers on how to make their child healthier. She can help families understand the cause of health problems, teach how to treat their health responsibly, and what to do to find physical and emotional comfort.

On 9 March, during Kids Expo Riga 2025, Silvija Ābele will provide free evidence-based consultations during individual and group sessions.

On Sunday, 9 March, there will be three lectures titled Nutrition for healthy development of infants and children. These lectures will take place at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00.
 The length of each lecture is 30 minutes. Maximum capacity: 10 participants.

Meanwhile, individual consultations for parents with babies, children or teens will take place between 11:00 and 16:00 – nutritionist will consult parent in-between lectures.

Silvija Ābele, PhD is a nutritionist, the first certified GAPS (GAP – Gut and Psychology Syndrome) practitioner in Latvia has more 10-year long experience in the field. She has studied homeopathy. Her approach to human health is holistic – as a health professional, she prefers to work on all aspects of human health at the same time.

Silvija Ābele is the creator and chief contributor to www.curantur.lv health blog, has led the translation of several books, and is the author of three e-books. Silvija Ābele has studied in depth low carbohydrate foods and their health benefits. Areas of special interest: how to assist children with autism spectre disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder and learning difficulties. These areas are also the focus of Silvija Ābele’s master’s and doctoral thesis. She is also a mother of three adult children.

• lots of useful tips to give away – Silvija offers lectures and workshops on broad range of nutrition and health issues
