Move together with Tuta, the Fox and Fenecca
Young fans of Tuta Things can start cheering already – on Sunday, 9 March, at 11:00, they will have a special chance to see Tuta and her friends, the Fox and Fenecca, at the Ķīpsala Expo Centre and spend some time together moving, playing and having fun. And all they need to do is just come to the trade fair; no additional charge applied.
Play with Mole and Flower Girl
Mole has dug his way out of the underground to reach the colourful meadow filled with all kinds of sounds. He and the Flower Girl, Frog, Bee and Mouse will be at the Ķīpsala to play with kids, and dance and sing together. Just say “Yes!” and on 8 March, at 11:00, come and join the Pasaku Nams/Fairytale House special performance Fun in the Green Meadow.
Meet the giant transformer robot
Do you want to meet and take photos with huge transformer robot? Then you have to be at the Super Party event management booth where you will find the transformer and also Barbie -themed photo set. Boys will definitely love to take nice photos with the robot, whereas girls will be able to model on the set with oversize elements resembling various sweets. There will also be a Wheel of Fortune.
Come see the puppet show
Breaking news from the meadow: Snail is getting ready to race other animals in the meadow. Who will be the winner? Let’s keep it until the race. If you want to find out how Snail did in the race, come to Ilze’s Dolls puppet show on 8 March at 14:45.
Take part in the baby crawling competition and fashion show
If you have a little crawling champion at home, you should join the amusing and everyone’s favourite baby crawling competition on 8 March at 11:30. And, if you sew, knot, crochet or can create a striking attire from unexpected materials, let your talents shine and take your little model (not older than three) to the baby fashion show Spring awakening on 9 March at 12:00. Dance with PERFAM
PERFAM is an interactive contemporary production that was created to inspire the audience to join in the fun performance with singing, dancing and various fun activities. Brightly dressed young artists will perform their own songs that are simple and so catchy that they will make everyone, young and old, join in by moving and singing along. Come and dance, sing along with PERFAM on 8 March, at 15:30, and 9 March, at 13:00.
Amazing magic tricks
Hocus-Pocus! Have you ever seen a magician pull a rabbit out of a top hat? If you have, good for you! But this time around it might not be the white bunny. What are the tricks that magician Valdemārs Weiss will show to young and old visitors of Ķīpsala Expo Centre? You will have to find out for yourself and come to Ķīpsala on 8 March, at 13:30, or 9 March, at 14:00.
See the Skitterworm dance
Some may call him a Slinky, but we know him as a Skitterworm – the fun, colourful and chipper friend of children. He will take the stage on both days of the fair and festival – on 8 March, at 11:50 and 15:00, and 9 March, at 12:20 and 15:30 – to entertain everyone with his amusing dancing. Do not miss your chance to see it and take photos with the Skitterworm!
See special service vehicles
Safety Quarter will offer a chance to see the rescue vehicles, quad bike and a boat. You think only boys like them? Nope, girls are just as fond of climbing the big fire engines or stepping into the shoes of a police officer as boys. Lots of fun and educational games about safety that young and old visitors will enjoy and find equally beneficial.
Fun bubbles in the air
Small, big and even gigantic soap bubbles… Magic bubble show with beautiful Fairy is something you should not miss. Come to Ķīpsala on Saturday, 8 March, at 12:00, or Sunday, 9 March, at 15:30 to see the fun show. Plenty of fun and laughs GUARANTEED!
Enjoy Activepark elements
If you like fun activities, come and jump around and enjoy the Activepark area with lots of elements for various ages. Some elements are free, and some will be available for additional charge. However, if you are more into creative activities, you must go to Sand Lamp zone where you will be able to create some sand art, play around with kinetic sand and build things. There will also be balloons and ice-cream.
Watch and enjoy the young performers
There will be some truly amazing performances by little artists on the festival stage on 8th and 9th of March. Children’s vocal studio “Kukaiņi”, Agnese Šīrante Studio „Kukuragi”, pop groups „Rakari” and „Poppy”, Vocal Studio „Spāre”, Laura Raila’s vocal studio, children and youth vocal studio „Pigoriņi”, contemporary dance studios “Festa”, “Virziens”, “Melody” dance troupe and even acrobatic studio “Melanž” will be there to give you fun.
