Exhibition “Children's World 2023” – useful for parents, exciting for children!
From May 12 to 14, Kipsala International Exhibition Centre will host Children’s World 2023, offering a wide range of goods and services for babies, older children and mums-to-be, but especially for children – meet the characters of the children’s favourite TV series “Tutas lietas”, enjoy creative workshops, sports activities and lifeguard cars in the Safety Quarter! For three days only, Latvian and foreign manufacturers and traders will present all the essentials for mums-to-be, plus a variety of products for babies and bigger children at great prices. This year, the long-standing exhibitors – the well-known and popular Latvian brands “Rūdolfs”, “Troll Nursery”, “Varis Toys”, “WUF kids”, “Tiny Bunny”, “Knop Knop”, “Murkšķis” and “EcoEmi” – will present their new and best products. For the first time, the exhibition Children’s World will feature “Mazo lāču putra”, “Bencha muude”, a modern slow fashion children’s clothing brand from Latgale, “LEX Darbnīca”, a small brand of beautiful children’s and women’s clothing, and “illo Wood”, a brand of quality children’s furniture and playground equipment.

Following on from last year’s successful opportunity, this year, as a special gift to visitors, we have also provided the opportunity to get free advice from even more outstanding experts in various fields. Therefore, four consultation rooms for maternal and child health and well-being will be open on all three days of the exhibition, where, by registering in advance, both expectant and new mothers, parents of young children and anyone else can receive free consultations from highly qualified specialists. Children’s favourite TV series “Tutas lietas” will make a guest appearance
Throughout the days of the exhibition – from May 12 to 14 – you can say hello and have your photo taken with Tuta’s friend Fox. But special moments of joy for the little fans of “Tutas Lietas” can be expected on Sunday, May 14, at 13:00, when the main character – the lively and beloved Tuta – will visit Ķīpsala! Together with her friends Fox and Fenek, she will invite children to the Big Stage for 40-minute long activities. All the children are invited to meet and have fun with Tuta, Fox and Fenek at no extra charge!
Concert all day long
The Big Stage in Ķīpsala will also create a festive feeling with talented young artists from different cities of Latvia – Agnese Šīrante’s Children’s Vocal Studio, “Dzirnas” Dance School, “Teiksmiņa”, Children’s Dance Ensemble, vocal studios “Nots” and “Svilpastes”, folk group “Tarkšķi”, dance studio “Akvarel”, children pop groups “Rakari” and “Kukaiņi”, Ginta Upeniece’s dance group, Gunta Stade’s vocal groups “Mini poppy” and “Little poppy”, and many others. Performances worthy of a festival, every day of the exhibition!
Fun at the Children’s Play Area
On all three days of the exhibition, while parents are shopping, children will be able to play hockey, floorball, race cars, swing on the 3D swing, play board games and meet a real turtle in the Children’s Play Area! In addition, inflatable attractions will be available for the enjoyment of young visitors, and there will be various climbing activities offered by “Lidolande” and “Adventure”. Face painting also will be available. But bubbles, balloons and ice cream will help create the party atmosphere!
Safety is Exciting
This year, “Children’s World” will also host the Safety Quarter, a favourite among children and parents, where you can meet police officers, firefighters and electricians in a friendly atmosphere. Children will be able to try on firefighters’ uniforms, but the bravest ones will even be able to get into the vehicles of emergency services, Riga Municipal Police boat and sit on a police quadricycle, as well as try out various tools used by specialists in everyday rescue and accident prevention work. Everyone is welcome to attend the mobile workshop “Childproof Home”. It will present practical examples of various rooms to demonstrate what a childproof home is like, and how to prepare one for a child under three years of age. Parents will be invited to look at the room from the children’s point of view and see the safety mistakes that put the child at risk.
