Consultations and useful interior design tips from certified interior designers of Latvian Designers’ Society to all visitors of Riga Furniture and Interior 2024 for the whole three days. Professional insights into the best balance between functional and aesthetic characteristics of any room!

Want to fill your house with more light and make it cozier? Want to find the right colours for your bedroom? Make a small bathroom work while also making it stylish and functional? These, and other questions that bother so many households modifying their living space, can be easily answered by professional interior designers of Latvian Designers’ Society who will offer their advice during the trade fair.

This year Latvian Designers’ Society will have these eight consulting interior design professionals at its booth:

Andra Rācenāja
Andra Rācenāja is an interior architect and furniture designer who works with all types of interior settings. Andra integrates all kinds of decorative art items in her interior designs. After graduating from Interior Design Department of the Architecture Faculty of Tallin Art Institute, Andra has regularly enhanced her professional knowledge and skills through continuous learning.

Dace Zeltiņa
Dace Zeltiņa is a certified interior designer and manager of O Dizains design studio. Dace has graduated from the Interior and Technology Department of the Art Academy of Latvia where she received her master’s degree. Her designs can be seen in banks, office buildings, cafes, shops and museums. She has also designed exhibition spaces, created living environment interior designs and collaborated on furniture projects.

Katrīne Pētersone
Katrīne Pētersone entered the world of art, and consequently – design, at a young age. Led by parents, who are both architects, she was methodically introduced to art. There was no second-guessing about who she will become. For Katrīne work is more like a hobby or passion. She prefers working with private customers and commissions, yet sometimes she also accepts the challenge of designing public interior spaces. In addition to interior design, Katrīne and her husband also run furniture company Filippo Furniture and Design. As a designer, she is used to put customer’s needs first as she tries to explore every aspect of customer’s personality to determine the best interior choices for them. Katrīne draws her inspiration from nature and its processes.

Kristiana Kazarjana
Kristiana Kazarjana is an interior designer and architect with more than 20-year experience in the field. As a member of International Interior Design Association (IIDA) she is a professional of international profile. She is also an expert of Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) and associate member of Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). Membership in these organisations is a recognition of her professional excellence and global status that she has acquired working with clients from various countries. As an industry expert, she constantly follows top global design trends and contributes to the development of design industry. Kristiana is currently the president of Latvian Designers’ Society.
Kristiana’s company, K & K CONCEPT, offers a broad range of design services to natural persons and legal entities. Company works with private and public interior designing, as well as public indoor and outdoor spaces. K & K CONCEPT is known for their professional conduct, sticking to highest quality standards and agreed deadlines, and thus have become a reliable partner for their clients and true ambassadors of their firm.

Līga Kausiniece
Interior and furniture designs created by Līga are not only eye-pleasers but also highly functional items. Her philosophy is: each interior has a soul. Miranda-Laura Timma
Miranda-Laura Timm is an interior and furniture designer, and also the founder of Marso Space Design studio. Marso Space Design specialises in design of rooms, offering wide variety of designing services to create rooms that reflect the unique personality of a client. Their design is thought-provoking and inspiring.
In addition to designing elegant and functional spaces, Miranda has also led the team behind the new FURNBALTIC brand. Brand promotes Baltic design, brining together designers and manufacturers from all over Baltics.

Rita Sniedze
Rita is an interior designer who creates functional and ergonomic designs based on client’s needs and requirements. She says she has designed indoor spaces for lush “castles” and little “sheds”. Safety and construction standards are a must-follow for her when she works on a design.
As a graduate of Riga Technical University, Rita has unique functional perspective on any dwelling, capturing all technical aspects and creating homogenous style, ergonomics and modern, fashionable look.
Designer has worked with clients in Latvia and Georgia, so she knows how to work in different cultures and cater to varying tastes and contexts. Her paintings give space a unique touch of a master.
Rita has been a designer for over 20 years. She became a member of the Latvian Designers’ Society in 2023 and constantly continues to enhance her professional skills through various courses and workshops.

Vīva Ieviņa
Vīva is a professional and experienced interior designer who does not shy away from complicated projects and can successfully solve even the most out-of-the-box situations. She designs interior spaces and furniture She loves to answer all kinds of questions and offer the best solutions.
After graduating from interior design programme of the Art Academy of Latvia and acquiring master’s degree in designing, she continued to work hard and grow professionally to meet everyone’s expectations as a true professional and bring clients the necessary modifications and additions to home interior.
Vīva believes that there is no uniform contemporary approach to interior design – it is rather a vast universe of possibilities where everyone can find what their room needs, a design that will dazzle and also be super-comfortable.
