Baltic Fashion and Textile Fair - already on weekend!
From 26 to 28 April, Kipsala will host the most important fashion and textile industry event for professionals and public this year – “Baltic Fashion & Textile RIGA 2019” – that will offer to see and purchase diversity of fabrics, materials, sewing equipment, ready-made clothes and accessories. There will also be workshops and fashion shows!
To enhance the visibility of Baltic design, the fair presents the Fashion Pop-up Street where participants from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia will showcase new and unique clothing collections that will be available for purchase. Lithuania will be represented by a designer Marius Vepšta, the A.P. Line and Shyzuka Bags brands, Estonia – by Kyllike and Vetka Fashion, and Latvia – by Linden Leaf, Loviletters, Epifania and other brands.The world’s leading sewing machine manufacturer Juki will present and offer to try out sewing machines for both beginners and professionals. Company will also offer a new solution for digitizing production and increasing efficiency – “JaNets” software. For sewing enthusiasts, Juki will offer both household and semi-professional sewing machines.
Innovation stand is an integral part of “Baltic Fashion & Textile Riga” and will introduce to the novelties of the textile and fashion sector in Latvia –transformable coats from Espatte, designer sportswear from Fit and Feminine, functional raincoats and womenswear from Colorfall.
Visitors will also be able to get acquainted with new products developed with help of the Magnetic Latvia business incubator like the be-with clothing for hugs, the RainSisters feminine waterproof coats, the Forgaminnt KIDS clothes for newborn babies with amber thread, the MeadowMe Organic cotton baby bedding with wild flower embroidery, the Trempel eco-friendly hangers, interior items from IkoCrochet, specially selected and processed clothes from ZĪLE, and clothing made of natural and high-quality materials from MaiMai.
The fair also offers Riga Fashion Workshop with the participation of an entrepreneur and researcher Miguel Angelo Carvalho from Portugal who will tell about productivity in the clothing industry, and Pavina Souvanlasy from Carlin Creative Trend Bureau, France, who will explain colour strategies and creative fashion and lingerie inspirations for the Fall-Winter 2010-2021, Carlin Creative Trend Bureau.
On April 26, the Latvian Technology Centre invites to attend the seminar “Textile Industry and Business Culture in Latvia and the Baltic States”. “Baltic Fashion & Textile RIGA 2019” will also present the B2B Matchmaking for textile and fashion industry professionals looking for cooperation partners in the Baltics, Europe and other parts of the world. “Baltic Fashion & Textile” is the largest fashion and textile trade fair in the Baltics attended by more than 9000 people from at least 25 countries around the world. An average of 4000 visitors are professionals – purchasers, manufacturers and traders. The event is held by the International Exhibition Company BT 1.
Event occurring simultaneously – the largest fair of children’s goods and activities “Children’s World 2019”. The visitors of “Baltic Fashion & Textile RIGA 2019” may attend the parallel event free of charge.
